Vita Sciences Maxasorb Melatonin...

Vita Sciences Maxasorb Melatonin

Contains 60 doses.

On sale for 19.95 (but you can save 10% if you sign up it says).

Here is what the site says:
Melatonin is the hormone that controls daily day-night cycles of sleep. Some sleep disorders, such as insomnia and Delayed Sleep Phase Syndrome (DSPS), are attributed to low melatonin levels. Travelers suffering from jet lag and swing shift workers may also benefit from supplemented melatonin. As we age our bodies do not make sufficient melatonin. Sleep enhancement is possible in healthy people as well with additional melatonin that may:

* Decrease the time needed to fall asleep;
* Increase sleepiness;
* Increase sleep duration.

Each measured dose of Maxasorb Melatonin lotion from our airless dispenser delivers 3 milligrams of melatonin with a full press of the pump. Just before bedtime, rub the easily absorbed, odorless lotion on your arms or legs. For travelers trying to ease the effects of jet lag, apply Maxasorb™ Melatonin lotion the day of travel close to the target bedtime at your destination. This will aid in falling asleep faster, improves alertness during the day, and reduces daytime fatigue. Use the product throughout the trip and for a week after return to help your body readjust its natural sleep cycle. Natural ingredients assure this lotion is gentle to your skin.

Now I've tried this three times so far, and sadly I don't know if it's helping that much, but I'm wondering if it's an issue with me and Melatonin really.  I've tried it in pill form with not much help either and I thought a cream might work better, might absorb better maybe or something.  But doesn't seem to be the case.  I can also say that it seems to absorb in the skin quickly and doesn't have a scent which is nice.   Even though this doesn't seem to be helping me I must admit I am curious about their joint cream I see on their site, I've been having such issues with my joints.   But this one for me personally was a bust and I'm sad about it, cause I have the epitome of sleep issues.

Nair Hair Remover Sprays Away Moroccan Argan Oil...

Nair Hair Remover Sprays Away Moroccan Argan Oil

I recently bought this at Walgreens, I don't remember the exact price but it was 10 and change I believe, which is getting up there for something I'd just randomly buy for hair removal.  But I was intrigued by the spray on and hands freeness of it.  Plus pretty packaging?

I have stubborn hair so I left it on for the longer of the time window, it didn't quite get all of it, and with the spray on it is a little tricky to use without getting it other places (same issue I've had with spray on hands free lotions).

Here is some of what they say on the site:

  • Works in as little as 4 minutes
  • Sprays upside down
  • Lasts days longer than shaving
  • Easy to use, rinses off in the shower
  • Effective even on coarse hair

  • I feel like it had some issues spraying upside down, but it was easy to rinse off and it did take off most of my hair.  But here is where I would very much warn you against buying it.   Now this is my first can of it so I had no idea how long it would last.  The first use I did all of my legs, ankles to top of thighs about.  Second use it didn't even fully cover both legs to the knee.  I didn't even make it on the second leg to the knee.  So I can't even say it last one and a half uses.  Just shy.  So for over ten dollars it just isn't work it if it doesn't even have two uses in it.  No thanks, not again.  Sad.  I wanted it to be amazing and work, and it worked, I guess I should have wished for it to last longer, like idk 5 uses at least?  Ugh.

    So steer away unless you're looking for just over one use but not two.

    Silicon Devices Bluetooth Earbuds...

    Silicon Devices Comfort And Bluetooth Earphones

    They are currently on sale for 69.87 on Amazon.

    Here is what it says on Amazon about the product:
    • Silicon Devices Comfort+ Bluetooth Headphones are the latest generation design created to accompany you throughout every moment of the day with the latest Bluetooth 4.0 technology allowing you to listen to music from your cell phone from as far away as 30 ft.
    • HD Crystal Clear Sound (EXTRA BASS) - Created to meet the expectations of the most demanding music connoisseur, Comfort+ bluetooth earbuds provide incomparable sound quality, approximating the human ear, with a rich, dynamic soundstage that accentuates every detail of your music with crisp, tight clarity and booming digital bass for every genre in your collection.
    • Receive phone calls at any moment with Comfort+ Wireless Headphones - A latest generation microphone allows the Comfort+ Headphones to give the user instant access to receive or cancel incoming calls or make outgoing calls at the click of a button on the main control switch even during vigorous activities without necessitating handling the phone itself.
    • Perfect fit for all sizes and ages - Silicon Devices thought about everyone and designed Comfort+ Earphones to be comfortably used in ears of any shape and size without sacrificing music quality.
    • Sweat proof and built for extreme activities - When doing vigorous exercises, most exercise earbuds on the market have the tendency to slip out of place and cause a loss of concentration on the sport or job at hand. Comfort+ Workout Earbuds are totally sweat proof and were developed to be used on all occasions, including during rigorous physical activities and impact sports.

    Now I have used these for both music and talking.  I can say for sure talking drained the battery in 3 hours which seemed a bit quick to me but upon emailing with the company they say that for talking that that is a normal amount of time.

    I love the carrying case, and I can't even say how much I LOVE the color of them it's so perfect and awesome.  I adore them.

    The only thing I wish was different is that the on off button is right where I have a tendency to push my ear buds in at and I keep worrying I'm going to accidentally turn them off while I'm using them.  Well and maybe that the charging cord was a smidge longer.  But they have worked perfectly for me.  Great for talking, listening to music and working out.  Super pleased.
    Like seriously, this color is to die for.

    This look was loosely inspired by one of Chi Chi looks in "To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything, Julie Newmar".  Though my lip is too dark of a red.  And the green/yelllowy shadow is a bit more pigmented on me, more transparent/subtle on her.  I did kind of try and put on the little mole though.

    The title of the post is a line from the movie as well.

    Dune Our Thing In Motorcycle Jackets...

    The main color is China Glaze's Dune Our Thing.  The accent nail is Revlon's Motorcycle Jacket (over the China Glaze, just wanted to try it, it's also on my thumb, thought the looked nice together too).  I found the Revlon (which is textured as you can see, not like hardcore, but it's nice, I found another one of the line too) at the Dollar Tree.

    Going in for a fill on Monday - tomorrow.

    Take A Peek...
