Four coats, clearly it's a sheer polish, which I didn't realize upon buying it how sheer it'd be. So I should have done some kind of base color under it. But in person the pink shimmer is very powerful (if you will), so I don't hate how sheer it was, but if I'd known how sheer it was I would have put down a light blue or white polish first.
Next time I will try it that way.

Thanks, I bought it today. I thought it was a solid color at first, so I had bought blue sparkles to go on top...I was wrong! So sheer, but pretty. I love the pink sheen...thanks for the review ! I also wish I bought a solid color for underneath..well, I still might !
By the way it's sheer because it can be used as a topper because of all the nice flakes in it:) try putting a matte top coat
