- I ordered this off of etsy, when it showed up it wasn't quite what I thought I was getting, as you can see there's a drastic difference between the one shown and the one I received. Upon talking to them they said I could send it back (they offered to reimburse shipping) and then they'd refund me but I just didn't have the energy for the hassle so I let it go but I think I would have certainly preferred the silver not the bronzey gold.
- It still had the puff with it.
- Closer of the puff.
- And someone had hit pan on this back in the day. I guess I didn't take a picture of it after I cleaned out the powder since I mainly just wanted this for the mirror.
I did contact Revlon asking if they could date the compact, and they got back to me and said it was from 1953 which is pretty awesome.
- Honestly the fact that it has an "A" written on it is a piece of the reason I just opt'd to keep it. My name is Andrea and I felt like it was just meant to be. I do wonder what their name was.
- This is my Nook case, my friend Aaron bought me a sticker I loved off of RedBubble, and I just put it on my case, I love it so much.
Little Bioshock love anyone?

Outbreak Of The Epic Undead Zombie Princess...
I have quite a bit to mention in this post, or more than usual anyway.
You may also notice I'm being photobombed by one of my cats Leo in the first shot.
First, I dyed my hair, I got Revlon's Luxurious Colorsilk Buttercream dye in Burgundy from Klout to try. I really liked it. I was intending to go back to something close to my real color (which is really dark brown, almost black) at some point soon, but now I'm kind of torn because I also really love this shade. Well time will tell. Any thoughts? Maybe you can suggest a color you'd think look good on me.
Now as for the makeup.
EYES:
Wet N Wild's eyeshadow primer I'm pretty sure if the one I used here.
Tick Tock's Outbreak Of Epic Proportions, Undead Princess, and Zombie Guts.
Eye Liner is Elf.
Mascara is Avon Super Extend in Black Amethyst.
LIPS:
Lipstick is Milani Sangria.
NAILS:
The red is Sally Hansen's Cherry Red - like the perfect red.
The gray is Sally Hansen's Wet Cement.
I tried doing little hearts on the gray with the red for Valentine's Day, it wasn't perfect but I thought they were super cute.
Up close shot of the eye makeup, and a wayward hair.
And below is maybe a better picture of the nails I took while I was reading on my Nook - I did get a new case for it off ebay, yay for purple.
Also this is my 400th post on my blog which is kind of epic, I want to do a special post for it but I haven't gotten to yet, so hopefully sometime in the very near future I will knock that out.

Starstruck by Bubble Gum...
- These were my nails today (the opposite hand which I didn't get a shot of was the opposite with blue nails and a pink accent.).
The pink is Revlon Bubble Gum - which I can be iffy on scented polishes, and this one smelled good.
The blue is 10 - Starstruck, which was a really gorgeous blue.
The 10 polishes are all like a dollar at CVS right now with the clearance sale also.
- Then I was amused that the pink was really close to the color of my current Nook Color case (just ordered a new one of those actually, really needed one that snaps shut.), I think the colors were closer in person than in the picture.
