Zoya's Aggie...

I think this is the first photo of my nails without my acrylics, it makes me sad, and I miss them but they utterly destroyed my nails, like seriously.   I have photos I took at the time, just awful.  Had to wait for them to grow out a ways before I could even paint them.

I took advantage of Zoya's last promo, four polishes for 15 dollars.  This is Aggie.  I love it.

Zoya Neve...

I got this polish in my October's Ipsy, and this is taken directly under a light clearly so it's darker in person but you can see the sparklyness nicely here.

Please ignore the wayward cat hair on my thumb, such is life.

Polish is Zoya Neve.

Aurora And Blaze...

- This is Zoya's Aurora (the purple) and Blaze (the red/burgundy), so in love with Blaze, I originally thought it was Aurora who'd win my heart but Blaze did in this combo <3

I miss my long nails, I broke all of them in the move and they just haven't really come back since, come back nails, I miss you.

Package From Sonia!

- I got my package from Sonia today.  Some of this I'd picked out along the way and some she picked out for me.   I love my Sonia.

I'm so excited to play with some of this stuff, and what color to do my nails next!   Probably one of those blues, they're calling my name.

Now I just need to finish bubble wrapping some of hers and send her her package.

Thank you Sonia, you're the greatest!  <3

Nail Mail.

 - I did a swap with a lovely woman named Kate in one of the polishes groups I'm in, at the time I couldn't find Cinderella by Sinful and really wanted it, she had some extras, so that started the trade, then she offered to try and find me a few other things I wanted, in come the Spoiled polishes.  Which are "Kickin' The Habit", "Are Mermaids Real?" and "Violet Femmes", all so pretty.  Then she sent candy, yum.  I was her first trade ever (awesome) so I hope she loved her half.

Then the Hot Ticket polish is one MyGlam sent me as a kind of "Sorry for that screw up", I wasn't expecting it at all, didn't know it was coming, what a happy surprise.  So looking forward to the MyGlam bag in like a week!  The polish is called "Magenta Disposition".

- Then my gay husband, Aaron sent me a Valentine's Day package!  He sent me samples and candy.  A cute little bag.  A adorable little A.  Then he sent me two Cosmetic Arts polishes he picked out, loving that muted lilac one.  A Color Club top coat to try, then Zoya's Kristen which I was lemming hard.   And lastly the Models Ink set, never heard of them before, but I really like the shadow colors and look forward to trying them.

I got some more Nail Mail that I didn't get a picture of yet (but it's coming Amy) that I am excited to post soon!

Zoya Tru and Maisie, BFF's.

 - This is Zoya Tru with Maisie on top.  Sadly the sun really wasn't out when I was wearing this but I tried to get some good photos of it anyway.  I really loved the flakie, so gorgeous.  It was one layer of the flakie as well so it covers well.  Always a plus.  I'm not big on a sparse flakie myself.
- (Sorry if this photo is flipped, Blogger is being weird).

You can buy Tru here.
And you can see my other swatches of it here.

You can buy Maisie here.

Zoya Tru.

 - Sadly there was no sun to take good photos with but this was taken outside.
 - I took this where I normally had been taking photos.  And I apologize my nails are different lengths I just had a break and was just too excited to use this polish, I had already started when I realized I should have evened them lol
- Sooo pretty, I love love love this color.
- This was with the flash I wasn't entirely feeling the above did it justice, although this is too bright (and blurry but ignore that.) I feel it's somewhere between these shades maybe but probably much closer to the darker.

Next photos will be this with one of the flakies on top.

I believe you can preorder colors from this collection now, otherwise they're available the 13th I believe.

*These were sent to me for my honest review.*

Zoya True Collection Spring 2012 and Zoya Fleck Effect Collection Spring 2012.

- OMGOMGOMG Zoya sent me samples!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I squee'd and ran all over the place and then hugged them for a long time.

I'MSOHAPPY.

This may be the best day (or well it was yesterday) I've had in a long time.

Thank you Zoya.   I've already done my nails with one of the purples which I will probably post tomorrow although I don't know if I can bring myself to take it off tonight to try another yet, I may just try the flakies on top and see how that looks and then post that as well.

Sally's and Ulta Haul Post.

- This is my Sally's and Ulta haul.  I used one of the Sally's coupon's, and my total was maybe 30 dollars if that.  There was more I wanted (and want) but I ran out of money, story of my life lol

I wish there'd been more of the scented Color Club's left, although there was really only one more I wanted.   I also wanted the Finger Paints set, but I may go back and see if they still have any when I have money, I can hope right?

I think I might be most proud of the Orly set with gloves, they probably aren't my favorite polishes there but I think I'm most proud of it cause it was such a good deal and I got the last one.   I paid 4 dollars for it, and I mean how much are Orly's?  Depends where you go I know but let's say they're 7 dollars, so the polish alone are 21 dollars and then maybe 9 dollars for the gloves (let's just say), so they'd be an estimated value of 30 dollars, for 4 dollars, awesome!

Also Idk if you can see them that well, you may have to click to enlarge but in the photo on the bottom left there is a tweezers and file that match, they were each like 39 cents at Sally's, so cute.

I'm wearing the matte velvet Zoya, Phoebe.  Although I'm not sure I'm loving it.  I may liven it up and put the blue glittery Finger Paints above on top tonight.

And can I also just say I've been reading a lot about mean Sally's girl's, as in mean associates working there.  I love my Sally's, the owner knows me on sight now and is always so nice to me, she got me some of the Finger Paints flakies early out of the back and she's held things for me.  If you're Sally's girls are mean girls and you're ever in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, go to the Sally's in the Midway of St. Paul (on University), and if you see Tracy tell her Hi, and that Andrea (the girl with over 800 polishes) sent you.   And don't worry, she's nice.

30 Day Untried Challenge - Day 8 - Caitlin + Petra = BFF's.

- I tried doing a drag marble technique since I fail so hardcore at water marbling. On my right hand I dotted Zoya Petra on top of Zoya Caitlin which was my main color, and then used a tooth pick to drag it around.

- On my left hand I put on Zoya Caitlin and then dotting Zoya Petra right onto my nail with the brush and then used a tooth pick the drag it around.

- I liked the right hand better last night but today I liked the left hand more. This was my first time trying this and I think with practice I can get somewhere in the middle of these two methods and have it be perfect. But I thought it wasn't too bad for my first try.

Things You See In A Graveyard...

- This is Zoya Jane, it went on like a hot streaky mess but it dried better.

If for some reason this photo isn't fully loading, right click it and reload it.

- Then I did the dripping blood in Julep Molly. I didn't watch the how to video while I was doing it, I was watching MASH, and I now see the error in my ways, I should have done the like non dripping blood differently, but now I know.

Few More Things...

- This is a package I got about a month ago (maybe it hasn't been that long, idk), but I didn't get to post it. It's from Aaron, my lovely gay husband. He went out and searched down some of the Sinful's I wanted so badly, and then included some extras. He sent me Sinful: Easy Going, Open Seas, and Star Fish. Zoya: Freja, Jane, and Dea.

- A few I got with store credit I had: Essence: Just Rock It! Orly: Flirty, Frisky, and Sweet Peacock - they were buy two get one free yay. China Glaze: Trendsetter.

- Then today I went to Big Lots, I got: Revlon Carbonite for 1.50 and Sula Teal which I've never had a Sula so yay, it was 2.50. Then I got a metal Beatles compact, love. It was 4 dollars.

Has anyone tried Sula?  And what are everyone's thoughts and opinions are Carbonite?

Also eep, I'm at 45 followers!!  That's so amazing.  Thank you everyone who's following me, you make me happy!  And I appreciate every one of you.

- This is Zoya's Zara.  It's gorgeous.  It's this purply pink color with the most amazing gold shimmer, love.

Zoya 3 Free Polishes Order...

- Yay I got my Zoya order!!  Okay like a week ago almost but I'm just now able to post about it.  I got Zara, Valerie, and Adina.  I've only tried Zara now which I'll post pictures of shortly.

Side note I really like Caitlin in their new Intimate line, maybe I'll get it sometime.

Couple Of Things...

Just two things I got myself during some of the holiday clearancing time.  The trio of Elf polishes was 2.10.  The set of Hard Candy lip glosses was 2.50 and it came with a nice mirror.

In a side note don't forget Zoya is doing a giveaway, you can pick any three polishes and get them for free with the code FB2011, just pay about 7 dollars shipping, but I mean 7 dollars is what one of those polishes normally costs so you can't go wrong.  The only hard part is picking your three polishes, trust me I know, I just had to do it.

Where For Art Thou Julieanne...

 - This is Zoya's Julieanne nail polish that Joe got for me.  I wish I could have gotten a picture of it in the sunlight (But we're into Minnesota's winter now and it was already set by the time I got outside today) maybe I can get one tomorrow.
- It didn't go on quite as smooth as I would have liked, but maybe that fault was mine.   It looks a lot more alive in the bottle it seems kind of dark on my nails, or maybe just not quite as brilliant as it appeared in the bottles.  But also maybe once I get in the sun it'll appease me more.

Presents.

- Went shopping with Joe at Ulta.  She did the buy 2 get 2 free on Ulta polishes and she couldn't decide on the fourth so I got to pick one and I picked Chic Peek.  Then I wanted the Zoya so bad but didn't have the money for it and she bought it for me since she said she'd knew I'd do it for her.  Oh I can't wait to try them, yay exciting.

Take A Peek...
