That's Shore Bright & Queen Of The Road...

The base color is China Glaze's That's Shore Bright and the black is from OPI and is Queen Of The Road.

It'd been forever since I'd done a Ruffian so it was time.

OPI - First Class Desires...

OPI polish in First Class Desires.  Not my polish, one I picked at the shop.  Was torn between this and another lighter OPI.

Also including the photo I took (and put on IG, follow me there <3) right after I got them done, the only other thing I did was put another coat of my top coat on them when I got home (NYC fast dry one), I feel like it's shinier than theirs.

I might make my stilettos pointier later on I think, but yay for longer.

That British Blonde Was Stern & Strong...

Was trying to show the purple tone to the outer shadow, so gorgeous in person.

BROWS:
Jordana pencil.

EYES:
Concrete Minerals eyeshadow primer.
NYX pencil in Milk.
Notoriously Morbid shadows in British Blondes, Jammies For Jason, and Stern & Strong.
Elf Intense Ink eyeliner.
Covergirl liner (lower).
Make Up For Ever Smoky Extravagant  mascara.

LIPS:
City Color Cosmetics Be Matte Lipstick in Jasmin.
My hair looks nice and soft here <3
Nails are OPI's Lincoln Park After Dark.  Which is kind of a sentimental polish for me.
I recently won all of the Be Matte lipsticks from City Color, and this is one of them <3

Goldeneye...

This is OPI's Goldeneye.

I'm hoping to get some better shots tomorrow if we have some sun.  This was also the only photo I took that didn't end up having a cat hair on my nail.

Thanks cats.

She Looked So Secretive In That Prom Dress...

 Regular shot.
This one I upped the contrast on, which I sometimes do once in awhile, sometimes I think it makes some colors look a lot more color accurate.   I couldn't decide which to show, so here's both of them.

BROWS:
Wet N Wild pencil.

EYES:
Concrete Minerals eyeshadow primer.
Darling Girl base in Fluff.
Glamour Doll Eyes shadows in Secretive, Prom Dress (from the middle to outter corner of my eye), then Boardwalk (over the outter corner on top of Prom Dress.).
Essence liner.
Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Black Velvet (lower).
Pur Big Look mascara.

LIPS:
Elf lipstick in Rosy-Go-Round.

Can kind of see my nail polish here, it's OPI's Pussy Galore, one of the liquid sands.  It's a pretty pink.

Current Nails...

 - This is what I'm currently rocking.   I decided to try the MyGlam nail stickers as an accent nail.  They're sooo long, idk who's talons they were made for.   You can't even tell they're hearts anymore cause my nails weren't long enough.   Maybe I'll have to try and get creative with the way I cut the rest of them.
- The rest of my nails are OPI's Kiss Me On My Tulips, then I got bored and decided to jazz it up by lightly sponging WnW's Silvivor on top of it.

Also I think it's interesting that I did this on Thursday night I think it was and my polish is perfect still and the stickers are showed wear and tear almost immediately for me.

Package From Sonia!

- I got my package from Sonia today.  Some of this I'd picked out along the way and some she picked out for me.   I love my Sonia.

I'm so excited to play with some of this stuff, and what color to do my nails next!   Probably one of those blues, they're calling my name.

Now I just need to finish bubble wrapping some of hers and send her her package.

Thank you Sonia, you're the greatest!  <3

30 Day Untried Challenge - Day 6 - Denim Glitz & Movin' Out...

- This is Ulta Profession Denim Glitz which I got in a set from Amy, I am head over heels for this blue it's so gorgeous! And the accent nail is OPI Movin' Out which I got at a consignment esque shop for 2 dollars the other day. It'd probably look better layered.

- Sorry these are camera phone shots, just wanted to get them up fast since I'm behind in doing it.

- And this is what happens when you move the camera and take a picture, you apparently break your fingers in the process....

12 and OPI.

- This is for nostagia's sake.

In this photo I'm like 12.  Please forgive my hair, my mom got me a perm.

I'm posting it since I'm apparently picking out an OPI nail polish, although in a color I don't think I would have gone for then.

I can also remember in grade school I had a big freezer bag ziplock full of polishes (Probably my mom's cast offs) and I'd take them to school with me and we'd have nail polish parties during lunch, who needs recess when you have polish?

We'll Always Have Paris...

 - This shot is without a flash.
This is OPI's Suede in "We'll Always Have Paris".  I did a top coat on the ends, I wanted it to be like a french tip but I winged it and it didn't quite work out the way I wanted it.
- This is with flash.

I don't see a huge difference between matte and suede, does anyone else?  I wasn't sure what to expect with suede, I imagined it having some kind of texture upon drying which I don't really think it does.  I wish it did, that'd be cool.

I oddly enough don't own a lot of OPI and this was probably one of the first I bought and it was the suede that sucked me in.  I do want some of their new ones however, mucho.

I've worn this since late Tuesday night, and it is now Thursday night and I had chips last night.  And I mean it does come with a thing saying it won't wear as long as their normal OPI but what does "Doesn't wear as long" mean, does it mean if the regular say wore for a week this would wear for half a week?  As oppose to I have chips in a day?  I love the color but was a bit sad about the chipping so soon.  I wonder if it matters that I'd put the top coat on the ends, which you'd think would have actually helped since that'd be normally where you'd first get chipage.  Blah.

Needs To Be My Last Haul, My Wallet Cries Out...

 - Okay so with the Nivea's, Walgreens had their Nivea on sale for 1 dollar each and I had like a collection of dollar off coupons for it, for I paid 8 cents each for two of them and the other two ended up free entirely, and I can always use for chapsticks.

Then I got the Eos's I thought they were all on the deal at Walgreens but apparently only the Summer Fruit and Honeysuckle (which they didn't have) but I got the Summer Fruit and Lemon Drop.   I love Lemon Drop.   I don't really like the Summer Fruit, mainly because I don't like the smell of it.   I really want the Sweet Mint.  But anyway the deal was you got back a printed off coupon for 3 bucks off your next purchase.  Which I then turned around and used on one of the Borghese mini nail polish sets which were clearanced at Walgreens for 4.99 (marked down from 9.99)
 - OPI Suede in We'll Always Have Paris.
- Borghese in Stellar Notte (Clearanced for 4 dollars)
- Piggy Polish in Fear Less (Clearanced for 4.99)
- Essence in Underwater (So cute and only 99 cents.)
 - Cute little mirror clearanced for 49 cents.
Ulta was still doing their buy two get one free so I got:
- Orly in Royal Navy
- Orly in Rose Radiance
- Orly in Rage
- Essence lip gloss in Rock On (These are 1.99 and totally awesome)
- Okay and these are the Borghese mini nail polish sets I mentioned above that I used my 3 dollar off coupon on.   Lovely.

Take A Peek...
