Sugar Skull...

 Products used:

Pop Beauty Face primer.

Rubies White and Black face paint.
Wet N Wild eyeshadow primer.
Sugar Skull Minerals eyeshadows in Peacock, Blueberry Stud Muffin, Euphoria, and Carnivale.
Rimmel Jet Black eyeliner.

The flowers which you can't entirely see are actually ornaments from the Dollar Tree last year.  But I think they make fun hair flowers.

This was done for Sugar Skull Minerals.  The weekly theme was Sugar Skulls.  Which is certainly fitting for them.  This is my first time attempting one myself.  Really my first time using face paint in general and this face paint was crap.  So I'm not entirely happy with it.  I need to look into much better face paint.

I kind of wish I'd done black eyeshadow instead of the blues cause in black and white it looks off since it's blue and not black, but including these for fun.

Building Fierce Sand Castles...

BROWS:
Wet N Wild liner in Taupe.
(First time using it, idk about this, I feel I should have got the darker shade.)

EYES:
Wet N Wild eyeshadow primer.
Wet N Wild's brand Beauty Benefits palette in Sand Castle.
Elf liner.
Elizabeth Mott mascara.

LIPS:
Wet N Wild lipstick in Fierce.

If you don't follow me on Instagram, well you should, I'm AllureOfBeauty but I just wanted to share a shot of a few lipsticks I found at the Dollar Tree, some old school Wet N Wild lipsticks, you may notice some writing on the red shade (which is the shade I'm wearing here), that's where I wrote the name on it, since they had names on the paper and plastic packaging but not on the actual lipstick and I don't want to forget their names.   Also the nail polish you're getting a quick glimpse of is a Milani I also found at the dollar store called Silver Stilettos.   And the backdrop of the shot is over the dress I was wearing, oh I love that dress so much. <3

Run, Do Not Walk To Your Nearest Dollar Tree...

I wanted to share with you these wire mesh holders, I found them just over a year ago at the Dollar Tree in the back to school section, which seems to be the only time they have them pretty much.

They fit pigments perfectly as you can see, and they're stackable, plus let's not forget only a dollar.  So if you can I'd go check your local Dollar Tree's and stock up while you can.  They come in black and silver.  They also have other matching items such as cups, which you could store liners or brushes in as well.

So like I said, run, do not walk.  Better yet drive, it's quicker lol

Look At Me!

- These are some new polishes I'm trying, the brand is Color Mates, have you seen them?  They seem to be at Dollar Trees, they're pretty nice, I've liked all the ones I've tried.  The two I'm wearing here are "Look At Me!" and the accent is "Purplesque", and they're brighter in person.   Can't beat them for a buck, I have about 12 of them so far, check your local Dollar Trees!

And I want to apologize for my absence lately.  I've had a really hard last few months, and I'm not totally thru the storm yet, and I want to thank my followers/readers who have stayed with me, and even a few new ones I got along the way while I was gone.   I'm really going to do my best to update here more often.  I never stopped loving beauty and trying new things when I could, I just failed at posting.

Made A Lipstick Holder!

 - So I've been on the lipstick kick I mentioned and had wanted a holder, but I'm trying to save money and I'd found a YouTube video where someone made one.   I was still a little torn between a pretty tiered acrylic one an maybe making one.  But when I saw the cotton/qtip holder things at the Dollar Tree today, I took it as a sign, since I didn't think I'd ever seen them in there before.
So I dumped all the contents out and put them in ziplocks for use (840 qtips, 60 cotton squares, and 60 cotton balls) whenever I need them.  I tried picking those damn stickers off but they just wouldn't come off nicely, except for on like two.  Then I cut off the lids and hot glued them together.

I later also put clear packaging tape around them too since I don't trust that hot glue.   I intend to probably decorate the outside of these later on.
 - As you can see Leo wanted to help me.  But he didn't want to look at the camera.  He wasn't ready for his close up.

Six of these together should hold 96 lipsticks, four in each slot, I hadn't any problem (yet) fitting four in each slot.
- I swear I had more lipsticks than this.  I KNOW I do, I can even think of a certain one, two actually, but Idk where it is.  I swear this apartment just eats things when you're not looking.  It kind of made me sad to see how empty this is.   I almost only glued 4 together and then glued the other two together to maybe put other cosmetics in but I didn't.  Maybe I should have.  Although I'm sure I'll get a few more along the way and it'll slowly fill.  And in x amount of time you'll hear me complaining that I'm running out of room.

This last picture is the way it looks atm.  I do have a lipstick coming in the mail, and one in my purse I need to exchange.  So with the exception of two more, that's what I got for lipsticks, unless the other ones turn up.

Eyeshadow Storage...

- Got a new drawer liner, I am so in love with the pattern on it.

- This was mid process of organizing my eyeshadow drawers last night, my 3rd Melmer is all put together so I'm making one pretty much all for eyeshadows.   The one shown here on the right is for palettes, the left for singles.  I couldn't finish the left because I didn't have anymore dividers, and it's my older drawer you can see the old liner I had.

- This was how I left it last night, sorry my just the camera phone shot.
- The above shot was it after I added more dividers and tried to organize it up.   Looks like I'll either need to double up or start a 3rd drawer soon.  This also isn't all my shadows, my pigments aren't here nor my big palettes.

This drawer I just put together for now, with some newer lip stuff, I have like ten thousand lip glosses in other room this is kind of a just for now situation until my shadows need to take it over, but I thought maybe I'd get to use more of my newer glosses.

And then below is the shadows I took out and put into one of the purple drawers you see in this photo (pack of four at the dollar store) because these I will be depotting, I ordered a magnetic palette from TKB, as well as some stuff to press some shadows since I've been wanting to try.   I also have three palettes in mind I figure I'll depot too, 3 Maybelline's and one Covergirl.

Fuchsia Chrome...

 - I had to take off that Celtic Sun, so I did this quickly before I had to leave earlier.  This is Sally Hansen Color Quick Pen in Fuchsia Chrome.  It's only one coat and I probably could have done with two.

I'd say it's more pink than fuchsia.  I do really love it though.

If you like the Sally Hansen Quick Pen's, they have almost all of the chrome colors at the Dollar Tree atm.   I now have all of them I think.  If I'm missing any it's the gold one.

I also hear (but cannot attest to since I fail at stamping) that these are marvelous to stamp with.
- Any good finds at your dollar stores lately?

Hauls.

- I had a bunch of coupons to use at Target so off I went (as well as the dollar store.). I saved like 6 dollars. I know Oooo Ahhh right. Anyway. I got Maybelline eyeshadow in Blue Blazes. Sally Hansen "Pink Sapphire" I don't think I'd ever seen a Hard As Nails in that packaging before. Sally Hansen Diamond Strength in Lilac Chantilly (these are clearancing at Walgreens for 2.79 atm). Revlon Violet. Sonia Kashuk (My first) in Blank Slate. Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Blizzard Blue. Fantasy Makers in Black Pearl (which I'm now thinking of POTC). Color Club Santa's Cinnamon. Sally Hansen Hard As Wraps, found this at the dollar store, I was thinking of using it as a base coat for awhile maybe it'll help my nails out and I can always use more base coat.

Buy three Finger Paints get a free wallet at Sally's atm. She had the Finger Paints on sale for 2.99 too, so everything in this picture was less than ten dollars. I'm using the wallet now. The polishes are Winter Sky, Be A Pal-ette, and Get Real-ism!

WnW Believe Me, It's Real (I finally decided to get some of these since Walgreens has the dollar off coupons in the holiday coupon book.), some of the Beauty Concept polishes I've been showing.

- Revlon Pedicure set (it was at the dollar store, yay good find.), Sally's baked shadow, and loose glitter. Eyeshadow palette from CVS too, I really like the colors in it, I hope they live up to their beauty.

- EOS set because I love love love EOS. WnW Back Alley Deals, Cost Is No Issue, and It's All In The Cut. And two more Beauty Concepts, since I loved the way the pink went on and the bottles I got the last two I didn't have at the Dollar Store.

I Obviously Need To Go On A No Buy...

 - The first photo has three LA Colors Eye Shadows from the Dollar Store.
The second photo has "Vamp Red" I believe it is for the Fantasy Makers nail polish.  A clearanced set of Dove deorderant.  Revlon's "Facets Of Fushia".  And Confetti's "Blue Bombshell".
The third photo has three of the Wet N Wild sets, "SaGreena The Teenage Witch", "FuchsiaRama", and "Ebony Hates Chris".  These for all a dollar, so that translates into 50 cents for the polish and 50 cents for the top coat, awesome.
The last photo has Revlon's "Fire Fox" (I got it for 44 cents, I already have it so it's for a friend.), The WNW set Silvivor.  The Ghoulish Glow was a gift.  And last is Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in "Deep Blue Sea" that was clearanced at Target for 1.77, and it's limited edition, awesome.

I have more posts for the haul than this, so consider this part one.
I am going to try and do a no buy for awhile, with the exception of maybe some limited holiday polishes if I find them (i.e. WNW On The Prowl), and the buy one get one on Butter polishes at Ulta on the 20th, there's no way I'm passing that one up.

Few Things...

- Top picture is Essence "Irreplaceable" with Sally Hansen's (limited) "Twinkle Twinkle" that was clearanced for 1.77.
Middle picture is a little baby polish I got at the dollar store (A brand called California Nails), I'm actually wearing it on my toes atm, I think the lid on the bottle is cute.
The last photo is two China Glaze's I got for 3.99 each at Sally's.  "Lubu Heels" and "Flying Dragon".  And my Gemini ring I randomly placed in the shot.

I'm Polish Crazy...

- Color Zone Set
- Two sets of Simply Sweet polishes.
(Both these brands have no name polishes which I hate.)  They were 4.99 each at Marshalls, which 5 dollars for four polishes, not bad.   They had some other Color Zone sets that looked awesome, if I like the formula when I try them I might go back.
Then I have a Hard Candy in "Fabuluxe".  A Hard Candy in the matte polish.  Three LA Colors from the dollar store.
The Expressions are more glow in the dark polishes, also from the dollar store.  And the two little sets on the right are also from the Dollar Store, these I've never seen before.
Then I also got a Rimmel lipgloss, I can't remember the name off hand, I do apologize for that.

This was one day's spree, oops.  But buying 22 polishes in a day is rare - and 9 came from the dollar store, and 11 were in sets so yea.

NYC Polishes...

- Another dollar store find.
Two NYC nail polishes in 241 and 225.  My kingdom for real names...

Pretty Grey...

 - Just one from the dollar store.  Maybelline's Express Finish in Pretty Grey.
 - Which I then decides to try over the NYC Purple Pizzazz on my middle finger.
 - Look at my ring finger, see that weird bubble, seriously?  Seriously bubble? You look like some weird fungus or something hiding under the polish.  Bad.
- I'd just added NYC's Love Letters to my pinky for fun because it looks gorgeous over anything and everything.

Take A Peek...
