Lip Monthly - August 2014.

This month's Lip Monthly came in a bag.  Sort of like Ipsy.  At least that's what I immediately thought of when I saw it.  I did like the bag though, it's usable.

I've linked to posts where I've used the first three (I know I've used the Ultra Pink too but I can't find the post, I remember it was more peachy than pink) two products listed.

The picture below is to show on the Magic Balm there was something black, on the actual lip product, not the packaging.  That was a little unsettling to me.

My favorite product has to be the Matte lipstick, I really really adore the color.  I'd love to try more of those.   This month's theme was City Color Cosmetics, which while I really loved the matte lipstick, Idk if I loved the theme of the brand.  I wish there'd been more variety, maybe a theme not based on a brand but based on more of a topic.

Eos Lip Balms...

I'd been looking for an Eos in Sweet Mint in one of the egg forms for quite awhile and I finally found one, at Walgreens and they were doing one of those register reward things where the Eos was 2.99 and I got back a coupon for anything for 2 dollars (which I turned around and used on some Wet N Wild that was 50% off at Walgreens last week) making the Eos for 99 cents, score.   Now I'm nearly out of the Lemon Drop as you can see which is probably one of my favorite favorite lip balms now.

And in case you're wondering my nails are the Late Night Fantasy from Naughty Nailz.

Eos...

- Eos lip balms, I adore the lemon drop.  I'd also gotten it on Summer Fruit, but I do not like the smell of it so I'm putting it in someone's Christmas package.  But this picture shows how much I have so far loved my lemon drop.

I keep the lemon drop on my coffee table and use it multiple times nightly.

What I'd really like is one in Sweet Mint.  And the medicated tangerine kind of sounds nice too.  They had some holiday limited edition I saw at Walgreens before that also sounded good, I think it was pomegranate something or other - I see on their site they have a pomegranate raspberry in a stick, maybe that was in but it was in the sphere.

Also Ice Breakers Orangeade mints, they're awesome and amazing, you should all try them.

- Okay, this is just fun and cute.  It's a little Mountain Dew lip balm.  Love.   I've had the cans version but never a bottle, so yay.

Hard Candy Lip Balm In Jenny.

- This is a lip balm (I've lost all my good lip balms lately) I bought in a color called Jenny.  First off the packaging is adorable, I always love Hard Candy's packing.  I haven't loved all their products but I want to love all their products mainly due to my love of their packaging.   But the main problem with this lip balm is it smells horrible.  I mean some lip balms have a bit of a smell but this one stinks.  No one I've polled like the smell of it.   Which kind of makes me sad because I do like the sheer tint of color it gives my lips, but I can't really stand to wear it due to the smell.  Sadness.

Maybe I'll save this one for when I have a cold/sinus infection, then the smell won't matter *Laughs*.
