I Got My Hair Cut!
BROWS:
Essence brow pencil.
EYES:
Concrete Minerals eyeshadow primer.
Darling Girl base in Fluff.
L.A. Colors eyeshadow palette in Sweet.
Essence liner.
Loreal Miss Manga mascara.
LIPS:
L.A. Colors Chunky Lip Pencil in Daring Red.
As you also may have noticed I cut my hair! It may not seem like a lot to most people but my hair was very long, down to my ass frankly. So I actually took a lot off. I posted a photo on Instagram of most that was cut off on the floor, you can see it here.
If you're not following me there already you should, a lot of it differs from what goes on my blog, there are some beauty shots but it's a lot more than that.
I was actually going to take more off than I did but the hair stylist said I had quite broad shoulders (which I do) and that it wouldn't lay properly because of it (?) so this is the length I ended up with. I'm still not 100% on how I feel about it. But maybe I'll get lucky and it'll be easier to do fun things with. Time will tell.
I took these shots right before me and my best friend Joe went to see "Jurassic Park", the Riverview (a small retro theater near me, where movies go last) was playing it on the big screen, so that was fun, you can't really see it but I was wearing my T-Rex skeleton necklace in honor of it. My grandfather would have loved that.
We're going to go see "Young Frankenstein" later this month, that'll be so awesome.

Cleopatra...
I did this last summer I think it was, and I just realized I never posted it, it must have been during my blogging break. So I'm very sketchy on what we used at all.
Joe did my eye makeup here, clearly I'm Cleopatra. And like I said, I did this during the summer, wasn't for Halloween, I actually went grocery shopping and to the post office after we got done haha
I really didn't get a second look anywhere I went, I didn't with the The Black Dahlia we did either. People at this point must be just like "There goes that odd girl who is always covered in makeup, don't mind her."
I want to say the eyeshadows are a mixture of some of MAC's blue shades but that's probably the most I can tell you. Beyond that for fun it's entirely one of my favorites we've done.

The Black Dahlia...
BROWS:
Avon Perfect Brow Pencil.
EYES:
Wet N Wild eyeshadow primer.
MUA Undressed Palette.
Elf liner.
Elizabeth Mott mascara.
LIPS:
OCC Lip Tar in Black Dahlia.
FACE:
I also have on foundation here but they're both Joe's so Idk what they are.
WOUNDS:
Spirit Gum.
Toilet Paper.
120 Eyeshadow palette.
Blood Gel.
Vampire Blood.
The flower I've had forever as well, it's from Breakdown Bettie.
I did my eyes and what not, Joe did my wounds, it was our first time doing wounds ever and I think they turned out amazing, this is entirely something I would do again, in a heartbeat.....well if I HAD one...
- This costume idea was entirely last minute, I'd kicked the idea around in my head but hadn't planned on doing it when I did, so we had to run to the store for spirit gum and blood gel (which is amazing, I need more of these things.).
My outfit was hard to pull together, I don't have any good 40s garb laying around so I did the best I could in the time we had. I think it turned out pretty amazingly if I do say so.
The top I've had forever, I'm not sure where I got it.
The pencil skirt is two different materials, I got it at Dots clearanced.
The heels are also from Dots, 6 inch open toe platform stilettos, and the heel and toe are covered in gold spikes.
Avon Perfect Brow Pencil.

Singularity...
- in NTMS the weekly challenge was VIDEO GAMES! Yay. I had a really hard time choosing what to use as inspiration. I actually had Joe help me on this one - and I narrowed it down to two games - Bioshock and Singularity, can you guess which she picked? Singularity it was. I'd already used Bioshock as inspiration before for Halloween that one year so this was different.
She did my eyes, I mostly did my lips.
She used a ton of stuff. No primer, she mixed the shadows with lotion.
She used Kat Von D palette, Aromaleigh shadows, Jane shadow and her 120 palette. She used her gel liner. Maybelline Falsies mascara.
She also did my brows, as if you couldn't tell lol
- I used Rimmel Airy Fairy for the first time, put some Essence gloss on top of that and then mixed in some pigments - or tried to, it was my first time doing that.

350th Post! And Sugarpill!
- So I got the Sugarpill palette (well I got a palette and a loose shadow) as a gift (my first Sugarpill yay!), for this look we used the palette Heart. Joe did my make up here, we were just kind of testing it out and playing around, and we did it in a hurry.
There also an Aromaleigh shadow, probably Alloy but I'm not 100%, Covergirl lash blast mascara and we used the Pop Beauty Cat Eyes liner but I think she did her gel liner on top of it.
Plus I think she used a shadow or two from a Kat Von D palette.
- The purple doesn't come through strongly in these photos but it does more in person.
I'm not wearing anything on my lips and I kind of have a weird expression here, ignore that. I just wanted to get a few shots of this and in the middle of those my camera died, guess it's time to charge it lol
Oh and also, this is my 350th post! That's kind of awesome, I saw that when I was getting ready to post this so I figured I'd mention it too!

Purple And Golds...
- This is another look with Joe we did yesterday. It was a lot prettier in person (not that it isn't pretty here but it had more oomph in person.).
- We used a lot of the purples I brought I think. I know we used my VOV purple (It's a shadow off ebay but it's really amazing.), and I think a touch of Stila Amethyst but not much. And my Loreal Infallible shadow in Perpetual Purple. Then she also used some of her Manly 120 palette. Her black liner (also from ebay), oh and some Aromaleigh. Somehow in these last two looks I've entirely forgotten mascara.
Oh and Urban Decay primer.
It looks like it's faded in the middle but what that is is the gold, for some reason it did not photograph right.
- I really hearted it. But I feel like purples always work well for my eyes.
Also this is another inspired look, from this post: Bows And Curtseys: Parisian New Year.

Another Inspired Look With Joe.
- Joe did my make up yesterday.
I'm not sure what all she used, my eyes were closed, she just came at me with brushes, it was crazy.
- I know there was Urban Decay, Kat Von D, Manly 120, and Aromaleigh.
- This photos wants to be a rebel and be sideways. This is Blogger's fault.
- Nothing on my lips, just wanted to get some shots before I passed out last night.
Oh and this look was loosely based on: Bows And Curtseys: Oil Slick Inspired Eyes. Heart her.

Inspired Make Up - Done By Joe.
- I hung out with Joe today and she did my make up, in about half an hour, the fastest we've done it in awhile.
This look was inspired by this post: Bows And Curtseys: Wicked Wanderlust. And if you've never looked at her blog, do so immediately, or well after you look at my post, she is amazing at what she does.
She used her Manly 120 palette. Jane Clubbing, a black out of one of her Kat Von D palette's. And a Aromaleigh shadow in Celeste as well. I think that was all of them. Then a Maybelline Falsie's mascara. And a black liner from ebay.
And I'm sorry this is a touch blurry, both I took were.
- This is a new NYC gloss, called Liquid LipShine in Big Apple Spice.
- I really loved this look.
- And one of me being a dork.
