Eye Shadow Drawer...

- I used one of my empty drawers in my Melmer for my eye shadows. I'm totally an eye shadow, lip gloss, and nail polish girl. I'd need another Melmer for all my lip glosses and eye liners, primers, mascaras though probably, and I really don't have the room for that right now, and then what would I do with my cute train cases if I did. But anyway, eye shadows, yay. Those damn Physicians Formula suck, they either have a rounded top or like a pyramid top, which do not stack, which was annoying, I actually don't have them all in there, I have some in a little cosmetic bag since they just don't play well with others.

- And just for fun. I went out shopping with Joe the other day, and I got this at Forever 21, she got one too but she couldn't make it corporate so she gave me hers too. I love it. I've been wearing it a lot lately. I have issues with my ear piercings so this is a really nice change.

You can either put the chain of spikes in front like this or behind the ear, I've rocked it both ways.

Bright Blue...

- Just something bright and fun, I really loved this blue.  I'd gotten it awhile ago as a free sample from an Etsy order I'd placed.  The Etsy store is currently not selling anything, she's either moving or on vacation it said I don't remember which it said.

Compliments Of Joe...

- Okay first off *ahem* ignore my blemish, the Clean and Clear seems to be helping but my skin still is not perfect and I opt'd to not edit it out since I've been trying the Clean and Clear you may as well know.

This is some make up Joe did on me, I love love loved it.   She did some technique where you use lotion instead of a primer and it had really good staying power.

What was used:
Eyes:
Lotion
Manly Palette
Covergirl Eyeliner

Lips:
Revlon Just Bitten Lipstain in Midnight.

Nails (incase you're curious):
Maybelline Express Finish in Pretty In Plum
With Sally Hansen's HD in DVD on top.

Intrepid.

- This isn't anything too amazing or spectacular for make up today, I didn't do any liner, or primer for that matter.   I just kind of threw it on and went out.   This is one of my favorite favorite eyeshadows though.  It's from Loreal's HIP line, it's called Intrepid.

I have I think every pigment shadow pot in that line, I love them so.   I've heard rumors that they won't be keeping them around, but I hope that isn't true.   They're so lovely.

Just A Few Things...

Mainly Elf...

Went to Target.

  • Chapstick shimmer - I was in dire need of some chapstick, but this one isn't that great I now know.
  • Elf liquid eyeliner in Coffee
  • Elf eyeshadow compact, fits four, kind of of wish it fit 6, since as you see I seem to have bought five...
  • Elf single shadows x 5 - colors are Dusk, Periwinkle, Moondust, Wisteria, and Mocha

I tried the last look using some of the eyeshadows, the dusk mainly, but I did try one of the other ones last night just for fun.  But they're really soft, almost a little crumbly, before I ever tried the Dusk one it had already had a lot of fall out in the package.  And I had a fair amount of fall out under my eye when I put it on.   The shadows also said they were highly pigmented, they do have a fair amount but whenever things say "Highly pigmented" I get really excited and get a little let down by the output lol  Another thing I wish with these shadows is that I wish there was a wider range of colors to buy, and maybe some brighter colors.

Oh and the applicator is a piece of crap in the compact for those of you who use them.

Sheen.

- This is just something random I did.

Products used:

  • Elf Eyeshadow Primer
  • Almay liquid liner
  • Rimmel Exagarated Eye definer in Perfect Plum
  • Elf eyeshadow singles in Dusk
  • Wet N Wild palette in Pride
  • Wet N Wild palette in Lust
  • Loreal duo in Sculpted

Falsely Sculpted...

- This look is done with Loreal HiP eyeshadow duo in Sculpted.  And Maybelline's mascara in Falsies.

Shimmery Greens...

- Shimmer Green esque look with Wet N Wild's palette in Pride.

Elf Eyeshadow Primer.

And the eyeliner is Almay liquid liner in black

Detrivore Eyeshadows.

- I got the samples I ordered from Detrivore, yay!  I'd ordered Scar and Brine and got Dreary for free, rock on.  I can't wait to try these, specially Brine so bright and lovely looking.

Vanity Palette.

- Just a bronzy look I did with Wet N Wild Color Icon Palette in Vanity.

Eyeliner is Almay Liquid liner in black which has got to be one of my current favorite eyeliners period.   Lately whenever I reach for an eyeliner this seems to be what I grab.  It goes on nicely and easily which is great because I don't have the steadiest hand ever.   And I'm getting better at doing my eyeliner which I think I partly decide to credit to this eyeliner.  Major props.

Also wearing the Elf Eyeshadow Primer, it's lovely as well.

Reviews.

...Elf  Waterproof Liner In Plum...

- Here's just the liner (was the day before).

- Elf waterproof eyeliner pen in Plum.

- I'd bought the liner in both black and plum, this was the second time I've bought them the first time I'd gotten them they were both entirely dried out and dd not work, so I sent an email to Elf and they sent me replacements and my free gift (They'd also forgotten the free gift in the first shipment), and I was happy to get them.  Then I went to try them and the plum worked (I actually thought it was black before I realized it was the plum version.  Then I went to try the black and that would be the gray line next to the plum.   It's dried out again and won't work and I feel it might be pointless to re email them about it since I already did it once.  And I figured I'd just review the one that did work.   It works quite nicely.  I do love it a lot.

So would I suggest to buy it?

Maybe at your own risk.  It's a lovely product but it seems likely you might get a dried out one, since I got three out of the four I ended up with.  But I will probably try and get a blue one when I do order again and hope for the best/knock on wood that it won't be dried out too.
I also tried to ELF Eyelid Primer, I'd tried Urban Decay (not that I'm knocking their primer potion it worked amazingly well too but if I'm forking out the dough I'd rather save a little money, I think we all would) in the past and very much liked it and I heard this was a good dupe for it, so I figured I'd try it, I mean at a dollar you can't go wrong.  It worked amazingly well.   I put it on before the eyeshadow below and 8 hours later it still looked perfect.  Maybe I won't worry about buying Urban Decay's 18 dollar bottle of it when I could get a few of these and have plenty of funds left for some more awesome make up, which I'd certainly prefer, I think we all would, I mean yay make up.  So that I would suggest you buy, hell I insist, go now Buy It!

...Wet N Wild Eyeshadow Set...

- Wet N Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Trio In Don't Steal My Thunder.
 - I'd actually watched the make up video on the site for this trio.  Mine I didn't think came out quite as lovely as theirs did but she also did have a make up artist doing it for her, and I forgot to do any black under my eye.

- This is with flash.  And you can see the lipstick.   I think the lipstick is Think Pink, I didn't really like it.  First off it's not really my color, but I can ignore that part and as for the product it went on like a crayon, that's what it made me think of a crumbly crayon kind of.  And bits of colors just seem to roll into balls around the edge of my lips after like half an hour or so.  So I vote no on the lipstick, I wouldn't recommend it and I wouldn't get it again.

- This is without flash and just in the light in my bathroom so you can see my eyes better.  I didn't think I've done a very good job to start with but I guess it wasn't too bad.

I did get compliments on it *Smiles*

My review on the shadow, I liked it, I really do.  I would certainly buy it again too.  I really commend Wet N Wild with their new lines of products, they're amazing.   Mucho props to you Wet N Wild.   And as a side note thank you for making me a bit nostalgic for my oh so long ago teenager years, you were certainly along for the ride.
