Even More Empties...

- I have even more empties to share today.

Two of these (or three? I can't remember if the nail polish remover was on there too.) were from my Project Pan.   The body wash and the EOS were.

I loved that body wash sample from Ahava, I just got it the other day, it was lovely.   The shampoo/conditioner smell reminded me of a Fuzzy Navel for some reason.

Then the laundry drops I got from Birchbox.

And nail polish remover.  I need to go buy more on the double.

Recent Empties...

- Here are some recent empties.

I loved the Beyond The Zone Last Call hair mask, that was pretty amazing, and it smelled good, I loved it.  Plus it's like 99 cents at Sally's.

The ECOS I got as a free sample when I ordered from Vitacost, it was pretty nice too.

The EOS hand lotion is probably my favorite hand lotion, I wish it was a bit cheaper though, I got a couple at a really good deal when I had coupons.

I swear I had two more Garnier samples to put in this photo but I couldn't find them, someone probably threw them away.

I'm working my way through another travel size shampoo atm, and I'm using an Organix conditioner which I truly hate, I just want to throw it away, but while I'm knocking off the travel size shampoo I'll keep using it.  I just feel like it strips my hair.  Blah.

Showing Together In Grape Juice...

- This is my nails right now.  My friend Katie asked me if I wanted some polishes she didn't want anymore.  These are two of what she sent me.  China Glaze Shower Together and Grape Juice.

And I'm holding my EOS lotion in Berry Blossom, I've taken to using this since I finished my Vaseline one I was using for my Project Pan.   I really love this one too, it smells really good (actually it smells like a Victoria Secret lotion/spray I use to have but can't put my finger on it.), I have a back up of this already, specially since they're so small.  I wish I could get this in like a full size lotion.   I got this at Walgreens for 50 cents, I had some 2 dollar off coupons (they were on the EOS lip balms.) and Walgreens had this scent on sale for 2.49, that was a pretty amazing deal.   They weren't on sale at all Walgreens, but you might want to check yours just in case, specially if you have one of those coupons!

Day 2.

 - This one was taken inside, in my normal lighting I use.

I used my palette again and just the palette (for shadows), then I used the Elf primer of course and the Loreal mascara.

I also used my EOS multiple times today, and the lotion.   Plus I just took a shower, so I used the shampoo/conditioner and body wash.  I have to work eyeliner in tomorrow.
- This one was taken outside on my way out to do a few things.

I used green, two shades of blue and white for the eye look.

Sinful Sinnamon...

 - The camera didn't seem the capture the color of these shadows right at all.  I wish I could take pictures with my eyes, they'd turn out so much better sometimes.  Dear camera, why you no capture the beauty?

You can't even tell there are two colors here.  Sadness.

Anyway, it's Elf primer, Maybelline Sinful Sinnamon, Maybelline gel liner, and Loreal Voluminous False Lashes Mascara.
- And a full face shot, even tho all I'm wearing on my lips is EOS.

Project Pan/Shop Your Stash/Try Not To Buy Anything.

Okay so me and my friend Alexandra are going to do a type of Project Pan.
We're going to start on Friday I think.

Here is a list of the items I have picked:
  1. Absolute! Eyeshadow Palette - 12 Colors
  2. Sally Hansen Hard As Nails (Using As A Nail Polish Base Coat)
  3. Vaseline Lotion
  4. Wet N Wild Coloricon Pencil Eyeliner In Black Black
  5. John Frieda Full Repair Shampoo
  6. John Frieda Full Repair Conditioner
  7. EOS Lip Balm In Sweet Mint
  8. Philosophy Body Wash in Happy Birthday!
  9. Elf Eyeshadow Primer
  10. Loreal Voluminous False Lashes Mascara
  11. Clean And Clear Eye Makeup Remover
I ended up with 11 items instead of say 10.
Here's kind of what I'm thinking we'll do this for a month and then regroup and see where we want to go from there and see how our progress is.

I expect to for sure use at least half of these items, if not more.   I also have an idea for what to do when I've used some of them up, like say the shampoo/conditioner I have a bunch of mini bottles I've gotten as freebie/samples and I think I'll work my way through using them after these to try and get rid of some of them since I don't travel much and don't need a bunch of them taking up space other things could be in.  I also have other body washes and lotions I can work on making my way through next.  Same with base coats and eye primers, and EOS.

And okay, other rules I'm thinking of.
  • I can buy limited edition things, and depending on the item maybe I won't use it and save it as a reward.
  • And while I am using an eye palette as one of my items, I am not required to use just that, I can use other eyeshadows with my look as long as I use something from this palette.
  • Also I've never really used this palette it's brand new.  I'm going to add a loophole in, if it's the worst piece of crap ever that won't work for anything I can swap it out for a different palette.   But I will do my best with this one.
  • And whatever shopping I do for my swaps I'm already in will not count against me and whatever I get for my swap won't count against me either.

This is my first Project Pan of any kind.  I have tried a no buy before which didn't work very well.   I know I probably won't do perfectly on this (is it wrong I'm already thinking that?  I think I'm being more of a realist than anything I know me.) but I will try.  And I don't expect to use every item entirely in a month, but I'd like to make a good dent in what I don't finish.

And here's a photo of my products:

Eye Look Love.

 - This is the eye look I did yesterday, it's reminisint of the one I did for New Years Eve, but this time I tried to kind of foil it, it did work I thought and look really nice.

Now please ignore the fallout, I DID clean it up, but I notice if I blink really fast after doing this I had fall out just fall out.  Not good, but it didn't do that for too long, just long enough to mess with my photos.  Also wayward eyelash it wayward.
 - I used:
Elf Primer
MAC Fuchsia
MAC I can't recall which purple I used.
MAC Freshwater
Loreal Voluminous False Fiber Lashes (I actually won this on their Facebook giveaway, yay!)

I wasn't wearing anything but EOS on my lips and probably should have.
Also I felt I should do eyeliner but I was worried I'd totally mess up and then be sad because I liked the shadow so much.

 - Then these photos are from my camera phone.

- haha it was entirely unintentional that my eyeshadow match my scarf but it seemed to lol

Hauls.

- I had a bunch of coupons to use at Target so off I went (as well as the dollar store.). I saved like 6 dollars. I know Oooo Ahhh right. Anyway. I got Maybelline eyeshadow in Blue Blazes. Sally Hansen "Pink Sapphire" I don't think I'd ever seen a Hard As Nails in that packaging before. Sally Hansen Diamond Strength in Lilac Chantilly (these are clearancing at Walgreens for 2.79 atm). Revlon Violet. Sonia Kashuk (My first) in Blank Slate. Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Blizzard Blue. Fantasy Makers in Black Pearl (which I'm now thinking of POTC). Color Club Santa's Cinnamon. Sally Hansen Hard As Wraps, found this at the dollar store, I was thinking of using it as a base coat for awhile maybe it'll help my nails out and I can always use more base coat.

Buy three Finger Paints get a free wallet at Sally's atm. She had the Finger Paints on sale for 2.99 too, so everything in this picture was less than ten dollars. I'm using the wallet now. The polishes are Winter Sky, Be A Pal-ette, and Get Real-ism!

WnW Believe Me, It's Real (I finally decided to get some of these since Walgreens has the dollar off coupons in the holiday coupon book.), some of the Beauty Concept polishes I've been showing.

- Revlon Pedicure set (it was at the dollar store, yay good find.), Sally's baked shadow, and loose glitter. Eyeshadow palette from CVS too, I really like the colors in it, I hope they live up to their beauty.

- EOS set because I love love love EOS. WnW Back Alley Deals, Cost Is No Issue, and It's All In The Cut. And two more Beauty Concepts, since I loved the way the pink went on and the bottles I got the last two I didn't have at the Dollar Store.

Eos Lip Balms...

I'd been looking for an Eos in Sweet Mint in one of the egg forms for quite awhile and I finally found one, at Walgreens and they were doing one of those register reward things where the Eos was 2.99 and I got back a coupon for anything for 2 dollars (which I turned around and used on some Wet N Wild that was 50% off at Walgreens last week) making the Eos for 99 cents, score.   Now I'm nearly out of the Lemon Drop as you can see which is probably one of my favorite favorite lip balms now.

And in case you're wondering my nails are the Late Night Fantasy from Naughty Nailz.

Eos...

- Eos lip balms, I adore the lemon drop.  I'd also gotten it on Summer Fruit, but I do not like the smell of it so I'm putting it in someone's Christmas package.  But this picture shows how much I have so far loved my lemon drop.

I keep the lemon drop on my coffee table and use it multiple times nightly.

What I'd really like is one in Sweet Mint.  And the medicated tangerine kind of sounds nice too.  They had some holiday limited edition I saw at Walgreens before that also sounded good, I think it was pomegranate something or other - I see on their site they have a pomegranate raspberry in a stick, maybe that was in but it was in the sphere.

Also Ice Breakers Orangeade mints, they're awesome and amazing, you should all try them.

Needs To Be My Last Haul, My Wallet Cries Out...

 - Okay so with the Nivea's, Walgreens had their Nivea on sale for 1 dollar each and I had like a collection of dollar off coupons for it, for I paid 8 cents each for two of them and the other two ended up free entirely, and I can always use for chapsticks.

Then I got the Eos's I thought they were all on the deal at Walgreens but apparently only the Summer Fruit and Honeysuckle (which they didn't have) but I got the Summer Fruit and Lemon Drop.   I love Lemon Drop.   I don't really like the Summer Fruit, mainly because I don't like the smell of it.   I really want the Sweet Mint.  But anyway the deal was you got back a printed off coupon for 3 bucks off your next purchase.  Which I then turned around and used on one of the Borghese mini nail polish sets which were clearanced at Walgreens for 4.99 (marked down from 9.99)
 - OPI Suede in We'll Always Have Paris.
- Borghese in Stellar Notte (Clearanced for 4 dollars)
- Piggy Polish in Fear Less (Clearanced for 4.99)
- Essence in Underwater (So cute and only 99 cents.)
 - Cute little mirror clearanced for 49 cents.
Ulta was still doing their buy two get one free so I got:
- Orly in Royal Navy
- Orly in Rose Radiance
- Orly in Rage
- Essence lip gloss in Rock On (These are 1.99 and totally awesome)
- Okay and these are the Borghese mini nail polish sets I mentioned above that I used my 3 dollar off coupon on.   Lovely.

Take A Peek...
