This is the travel case rolled up.
I will say this smelled unpleasant, it had that new smell to it.  It just needed to air out a bit.  I do think it looks very sleek and lovely though, better than some I've had that's for sure.

Here are what the brushes look like, and this is what is included:

  • Powder brush
  • Blush brush
  • Foundation brush
  • Eyeshadow brush
  • Smudge brush
  • Fan brush
  • Concealer brush
  • Eyebrow blush
  • Eyeliner blush
  • Sponge applicator
  • Lip brush
  • Spoolie brush

I've been using these a lot, I really love the eye brushes the best.   Perfect.  Also the retractable lip brush, that's perfect too, I've been using a lot of lip products that need a brush lately so this is always great to have, specially one that is retractable or with a lid, so that way if you did really need to you can take it with in your purse.

I also love the pink and black of these brushes together.   That pink just pops, and I love it.  They're also super soft, and just lovely.   I did mentioned earlier that these came with brush guards so another nice bonus to be included, I've actually never had them before and I'm glad to try them too.

What do you think of the brushes?  Have you tried this brand?  Or these brushes?  Or do you have any other brush sets to suggest?

Sally Girl Neon Makeup Brushes!

- For those of you swinging by Sally's in the near future they currently have Sally Girl makeup brushes, in neons and they're super adorable!  I think they had one other color which was a yellow/green I think?  And they did have a powder brush and a foundation brush too.  I just got the eyeshadow brushes and a baby kabuki because it was just the cutest thing in the world.   They're 99 cents each and I think they're a limited time only thing, so you might want to step on it!

Making My Own Make Up Board...

 - This is the original picture I bought from Goodwill.  It was amusing on it's own, since it's so true.  I got it for 1.60.

It was a huge ordeal getting the metal sheet for the magnets to stick to.   Anyone planning to do this go to Ace NOT Menards, Menards was awful.

I am planning to spray paint the frame and probably do different paper or fabric on the sheet of metal, I'm just trying to save funds so I stuck with paper I had and figured I could always spray paint later.

I left a space blank I'm waiting til I find an awesome picture to put there.

I have had a few things fall out, but that's because of the glue I used (it was cheap) and not because of the metal sheet or magnets.  At least I know that much, at some point I need to get better glue.
 - Sorry this shot is sideways.   Thanks Blogger.

I'm trying to put just some of my everyday stuff on here.   I don't really have a lot of everyday stuff honestly so I've added some shadows I figured could be go to stuff.   Mascara, primer, remover, etc.
 - Inside the little basket thing.  I got it at the dollar store.   I just kind of put brushes and other primers in here atm, I need to clean those brushes too, so sorry if they look a bit less than stellar.
- And a cute little piggy magnet I have, he guards the makeups.

My mom also made me a magnet I haven't put up yet.

Have you ever made a make up board?  I wanted to because I thought it'd be fun and because I know the apartment I'll be moving into is going to have like no bathroom space at all pretty much and I thought this would help.
