Simply Sweet...

 - You may remember these Simply Sweet polishes from my haul post the other day, they were in a set of four for 4.99.  They're unnamed which I hate.  They were a runnier polish, and flooded my cuticals.   Then for fun the next day I added Hard Candy's "Fabuluxe" to my thumb and ring finger.  Then I used my matte polish by Hard Candy on my thumb and I took a picture of them next to each other to compare.  I liked it both ways.

Few Things...

- Top picture is Essence "Irreplaceable" with Sally Hansen's (limited) "Twinkle Twinkle" that was clearanced for 1.77.

Middle picture is a little baby polish I got at the dollar store (A brand called California Nails), I'm actually wearing it on my toes atm, I think the lid on the bottle is cute.

The last photo is two China Glaze's I got for 3.99 each at Sally's.  "Lubu Heels" and "Flying Dragon".  And my Gemini ring I randomly placed in the shot.

I'm Polish Crazy...

- Color Zone Set

- Two sets of Simply Sweet polishes.

(Both these brands have no name polishes which I hate.)  They were 4.99 each at Marshalls, which 5 dollars for four polishes, not bad.   They had some other Color Zone sets that looked awesome, if I like the formula when I try them I might go back.

Then I have a Hard Candy in "Fabuluxe".  A Hard Candy in the matte polish.  Three LA Colors from the dollar store.

The Expressions are more glow in the dark polishes, also from the dollar store.  And the two little sets on the right are also from the Dollar Store, these I've never seen before.

Then I also got a Rimmel lipgloss, I can't remember the name off hand, I do apologize for that.

This was one day's spree, oops.  But buying 22 polishes in a day is rare - and 9 came from the dollar store, and 11 were in sets so yea.

Matte Is The Word...

 - This was done using China Glaze "Turned Up Turquoise" and "Flying Dragon", I thought it was interesting I picked two new polishes and they both dry matte.

I also did the random design on my thumb just playing with my new dotting tools.

And then on my left hand I tried the Expressions nail polish, it's a glow in the dark one, I didn't notice any color change, but it was slightly like a top coat so it added shine and brought out the shimmer and glitter in the "Flying Dragon".   Sorry I didn't get any pictures of it glowing but for being a cheapo polish I felt it did glow pretty well, and specially since I only did one coat.

And for being pretty much matte polishes they held up really well, I never put a top coat on my right hand (which is my dominate hand), and they stayed intact - well until I dug through a box of books at the dollar store.  I ruined my manicure shopping.  Shopping is dangerous work people.

Hello There, Fancy Meeting You In My Mailbox...

- I got these for like four dollars.   But you can get them cheaper on ebay which if you'd like to do more with nail art, they're helpful.  I kind of wish I'd gotten the muti colored ones, but they didn't have them on the site I got them on, but...as you see, they seem to match my PJ pants like exactly.  That's interesting, certainly didn't plan to match for the picture, haha.

Pin Up Nails...

- These are what I'm deeming my pin up nails.  I got a set of dotting tools, and I heart them.  This was my first time using them.  This was also my first time using a Petites nail polish, I loved it.

As you can see on my left hand I tried dotting out a heart but it didn't work very well, but maybe with practice it could.

I also got the Maybelline clearanced for like 97 cents, which is awesome, I took a chance on it, I have a hard time with reds, they never quite seem to be the right red.

3rd Franken...

- I didn't get pictures of the polishes that went into this, but this makes me think of the second franken I did (See previous post) but it's a darker lilac, that one seems more of a pink lilac.  I haven't tried this one yet either.  So many polishes, so little time.

More Frankens...

 - This was another franken I did, you can see the polishes I used in the first photo.  When I put them all together in the bottle, right before I shook I thought "Oh this is going to be sooo ugly." and I shook, didn't look and shook.  Then I looked.  And I surprised myself when I liked it.  I admittedly haven't got to try this one yet but I love the way it looks in the bottle!

Revlon, Beads And I Broke My Nails...

 - The one above it Revlon's "Ocean's Breeze", it bubbled which is fail.  I liked the color, but it's one of the scented polishes and I thought what is their "Ocean's Breeze" going to smell like, yea, it smells like Windex.  It's really bad.

And this one is Revlon's "Beach" because that seems even harder to replicate and it just smelled really powdery, not so good either.

Then I tried using some of these Martha Stewart micro glass beads, I'd wandered around Michael's thinking what can I stick on my nails.  So this was my test run, I wanted to see how they'd hold up.  And I left them on for over a day (I don't keep my mani's long) and it was still stuck like glue so that's good.   I got these clearanced, they were 1.49, I got turquoise ones, pink ones and purple ones.  I also fine purple glitter too.
