Mountain Dew...

- Okay, this is just fun and cute.  It's a little Mountain Dew lip balm.  Love.   I've had the cans version but never a bottle, so yay.

Another Ruffian...

 - Sorry these are just bad camera phone pictures, but my converter for my micro SD card broke, so until I can get a new one these will have to do lol

So I bought those reinforcement stickers to use to try to do my ruffian manicure, but since this was my first time using the stickers I put them a bit too high and way too much silver showed.  It's not terrible or anything but yea.

I used Wet N Wild Wild Shine in Metallica for the base color and Elf's nail polish in Royal Purple (it was my first time using the Elf polish and I really like it.   I'll have to pick up some of their other colors whenever I make another purchase from them.)

Does anyone have any good color combos to suggest for me to try?

This was my first time using the Scar which wasn't quite the shade I thought it was going to be from the picture online but I did really like it.

It was also the first time I'd used Nimbus I'd gotten it as a free sample from this seller.  It's a really awesome color I love it.  It's really nice.

I'd ordered Tattletale, Break The Silence and Fierce.  My free samples were Wanderlust and oh I can't remember the other one, but they were both ones I'd been pondering getting, so that's always a huge plus.

- I finally got my Elf package today, I swear these seem to take forever.  I'd placed the order on September 10th and it shipped the 15th and I got it today, so I guess that's not forever...

50th Post.

- Okay, this is a little sloppy, I just winged it I didn't use any stickers or anything to help.   I think I will buy some I saw someone use in a tutorial.

I used Sinful's Dream On for the pink matte color and Sally Hansen's Black Out for the black (Duh.)

I wanted to use my black matte but I couldn't find it last night, but I just located it in my messenger bag with my laptop.

I do like it though.

Sassy Minerals...

- I just got this, my mail man was kind enough to get the envelope all dirty and wet, I think he dropped it in a puddle.  It's pouring outside.

I probably should have taken a more better photos but I just took this one out of excitement before I rip it open, because the presentation was so lovely.

Mini Collection.

- This is just my smaller little train case of most of the current make up I've been rocking.   I decided to take it all out and put it back in nicely, who knows how long it'll even stay like this, probably til tonight when I go home, put on some new make up (I has samples to try) and then decide that I want a palette that's on the bottom.

The bottom picture is my eyeliners before I put them in (and some brushes off to the side - and a lipgloss by Wet N Wild I love).

I got Death Valley, Harpy, and Faithless which was my free sample, I thought it was interesting that Faithless and Harpy were so close in color.   I have a look coming up using Faithless.

Bright Blue...

- Just something bright and fun, I really loved this blue.  I'd gotten it awhile ago as a free sample from an Etsy order I'd placed.  The Etsy store is currently not selling anything, she's either moving or on vacation it said I don't remember which it said.

- Okay first off *ahem* ignore my blemish, the Clean and Clear seems to be helping but my skin still is not perfect and I opt'd to not edit it out since I've been trying the Clean and Clear you may as well know.

This is some make up Joe did on me, I love love loved it.   She did some technique where you use lotion instead of a primer and it had really good staying power.

Dollar Store...

- Got these at the dollar store, which amuses me some since Elf is normally a dollar anyway.

But I was surprised to find Max Factor at the dollar store, haven't seen them in forever, and they don't really seem to exist anymore anyway.  I just went and looked on wiki, apparently they're choosing to discontinue it here in the US and focus on Covergirl (which I didn't know they were owned by the same people) but they will continue to market it overseas.

But anyway I bought the shadows in Fawn and Bourbon.  Pretty colors.  A look using those is coming up.

In Elf I got two brightening eyeliners in Gilded and Plum - they also came with sharpeners.

Sorry my pictures are flipped around, product should be first but my blog was being pissy on it so eh.  But as you can see the shadows don't show up extremely well on my hand, you can barely see Fawn, but I bought Fawn as a highlighter more so anyway.

Intrepid.

- This isn't anything too amazing or spectacular for make up today, I didn't do any liner, or primer for that matter.   I just kind of threw it on and went out.   This is one of my favorite favorite eyeshadows though.  It's from Loreal's HIP line, it's called Intrepid.

I have I think every pigment shadow pot in that line, I love them so.   I've heard rumors that they won't be keeping them around, but I hope that isn't true.   They're so lovely.

I know Let Me Go is a rebuy, because I know I have it somewhere, the only question is where.  But for 99 cents it's not that big of a deal to reget it because I do love that color.  And the other two are just fun.

First Time Doing A French Tip...

- This is Maybelline's Express Finish in Grape Times.   I really love this color, it's gorgeous.  And then I decided to do a french tip on it with Sinful's Social Ladder which made it look much more lilac in color.  My french tips weren't perfect, but this was my first time actually really doing it (I'd done it on the one nail before but I did all of them this time)  I really like it.   I just wish some of my nails were a bit longer.

And the last picture is just a bad camera phone one but I hadn't taken another of them all done with my actual camera.

Avon Wicked Nailwear Polish...

- Avon Nailwear Pro in Wicked.

This is horrible.

As you can see in the bottle it has a red gorgeous shimmer, but on the nails it really doesn't have any, it just looks like you're wearing black nail polish pretty much.   And it chips, or it more like peels off.  As you an see it's chipping in the picture and I think that's after I'd already fixed some of it too.  But it was extremely disappointing and I will be returning it.

Avon Matte.

- I have such a love/hate with matte nail polishes.  They always remind me of like primer paint on a car or something.  But this was one I bought on a demo to try it out.  There's something about it I really like, probably how it looks nearly perfect going on, and it dries insanely fast.  It does chip but it's easy enough to fix with how quick is dries.

The bottom picture is where I did a french tip on my pinky just to try it out.  I used a Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in a purple lilac shade, can't recall the title atm.
